​How They Function
​These devices work in a Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) pair:
​One unit sends out an invisible infrared beam.
​The other unit receives that beam.
​If the beam is "broken" (interrupted by a car, person, or pet), the receiver triggers a relay to stop a gate from closing or to sound an alarm
